Dr. Vocaturo began his college education at Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey’s largest private university, where he was awarded a bachelor of science degree in biology. In 1992, Dr. Vocaturo earned the right to be called “Doctor” when he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, the third oldest and the largest dental school in the country. During 1992, Dr. Vocaturo also served as a clinician and speaker with the renowned University.

Dr. Donald P. Lapine, DMD, FIADFE, FACE - Cosmetic Dentist – New Jersey and New York
Donald Lapine, DMD, joined Dr. Vocaturo practicing at the Cosmetic & Wellness Center of New Jersey in 1998. He received his dental degree in 1997 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon completing his dental education, Dr. Lapine joined the staff of Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. There he continued his education as a general practice resident before joining Dr. Vocaturo. In 1992, Dr. Lapine received his undergraduate degree in both Biology and Philosophy from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He has already attained fellowship status in the Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics and International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. He is currently a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lapine trained at the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC Live) a hands on course that is associated with the University of Pacific in San Francisco, CA. This course is devoted to teaching advanced cosmetic dentistry. He has also been selected as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Society.
Dr. Lapine, who serves the New York and New Jersey areas, has been nationally recognized for his clinical and academic excellence. Donald Lapine maintains memberships in numerous professional organizations, including the New Jersey Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry where he has been on the executive board and served as Secretary since 2000, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been an integral part of product research, development, and testing with numerous national dental companies including the Midwest Comfort Syringe (a computerized method of delivering local anesthesia). In addition to co-authoring many dental articles published on modern dentistry, including the cover of Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice, Dr. Lapine has made television appearances highlighting bleaching procedures and high-tech dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Lapine has worked with Discuss Dental, maker of the Zoom 2 teeth whitener featured on Extreme Makeover, to conduct research for the product.
